Part 1: A first approach to the study of the genus Entoloma subgenus Nolanea s. l. using molecular and morphological data

Abstract

A study is presented on the genus Entoloma subgenus Nolanea in Europe, with special emphasis on the complexes of E. sericeum and E. hebes. A phylogenetic analysis, using 171 ITS sequences, including those of 17 type specimens, reveals a rather huge genetic diversity, supporting the noted morphological variability in both groups. Accordingly new taxa had to be recognized (E. conicosericeum, E. brunneosericeum, E. llimonae, E. psammophilohebes, E. fuscohebes, E. pseudofavrei and E. calobrunneum) and its also necessitated typification of E. sericeum, E. nitens and E. juncinum. Tentative keys are given to the groups of E. sericeum and E. hebes to facilitate identification. For most species macro and microscopic descriptions, drawings and photographs are presented.

Abstract

Se aportan nuevos datos sobre el género Entoloma en la Península Ibérica, en especial de colecciones halladas en zonas montanas o subalpinas. Se proponen cuatro nuevas especies: E. aranense, E. extremophilum, E. perdepressum y E. squamosipes. Además, se incluyen correcciones y adiciones a nuestras anteriores articulos de la misma serie.

Part 3: Entoloma luteoochraceum y E. luteoviolaceum, dos nuevas especies de las Islas Canarias

Abstract

Se describen dos nevas species, Entoloma luteoochraceum y E. luteoviolaceum, recolectadas en plantaciones de pino de Monterrey (Pinus radiata) en la isla de Tenerife. Se aportan descripciones, fotografias de los caracteres microscópicos y fotografias de los basidiomas en su hábitat. Se incluye discusión sobre la nueva especie y su relacíòn con otros taxones del género.
